Welcome To Camp 6

We miss Anvil Island—the ocean swims, the lively games, the busy stillness, the stars, our friends, the chapel. We miss Camp 6. But most of all, we miss YOU, our campers!

It has been a process for us to adjust to a summer without visiting Anvil Island as I’m sure it was a journey for you to adjust to not being able to be together on Anvil too. However, we are delighted to be reminded that God meets us not just for one week on Anvil but in our everyday lives in whatever we are doing and in however we are feeling! God is always with us and we choose to see this as an opportunity gifted to us. From Zephaniah 3:17: The Lord your God is in your midst, a Mighty One who will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness; He will quiet you by His love; He will exult over you with loud singing.

We have 6 days of Camp 6 at Home for this year. For six days, starting August 8th, we will have a short video available. Check it out at the link below!

Each week brings about 75 volunteer staff dedicated to making this week an awesome experience for your child. Each camp has a Nurse or Doctor on staff, 4 certified lifeguards and 2 advanced first-aid attendants. The majority of our staff have served for many consecutive years and all have pre-camp training, criminal record checks and reference checks. A typical cabin has a Sr. Cabin Leader and a Junior Cabin Leader for 10 kids. We are committed to making this a safe, fun and loving environment for your child.

Meet the Director

Brittani has a passion for seeing the relationships of 9-12 year olds grow. Both their relationships with each other and with Jesus. If she’s not a part of creating space for that on Anvil, she’s creating space for them at her church in Richmond or as a teacher during the week. She can also be found building, growing, or cooking something with her husband, Matt and their two kids, Jack and Anna.
