Welcome to Camp 7

Our goal at Daybreak is to provide every camper with an awesome week long camp experience that your child will not forget. Our volunteer staff will encourage each camper to develop Christian character in a fun and accepting atmosphere – and help them experience a week like no other. All cabin leaders are chosen based on their Christian character, values and for their desire to lovingly communicate these values to the campers while having a great time together. Every cabin experience is different and unique with dress-up nights, individual bonding activities, cabin time and chances for one-on-one in-depth conversations with a cabin leader. A typical cabin group will consist of 10 to 12 campers with two counselors with an overall ratio of approximately one staff member for each two campers.

CAMP 7, 2019 THEME

When it comes to Christianity, the reality is some of us have certain views about Jesus because we have gone with the flow in life. Maybe we were raised in a Christian home and have been taught what to believe. The other reality is maybe some of us were raised the exact opposite. We don’t believe because we grew up around people who gave us reasons not to follow Jesus.

For Camp 7 this year, we are going to dive deeper into the reality of Christianity and what it means to have a personal relationship with God.

Each week brings about 75 volunteer staff dedicated to making this week an awesome experience for your child. Each camp has a Nurse or Doctor on staff, 4 certified lifeguards and 2 advanced first-aid attendants. The majority of our staff have served for many consecutive years and all have pre-camp training, criminal record checks and reference checks. A typical cabin has a Sr. Cabin Leader and a Junior Cabin Leader for 10 kids. We are committed to making this a safe, fun and loving environment for your child.
