Welcome to Camp 7

Our goal at Daybreak is to provide every camper with an awesome week long camp experience that your child will not forget. Our volunteer staff will encourage each camper to develop Christian character in a fun and accepting atmosphere – and help them experience a week like no other. All cabin leaders are chosen based on their Christian character, values and for their desire to lovingly communicate these values to the campers while having a great time together. Every cabin experience is different and unique with dress-up nights, individual bonding activities, cabin time and chances for one-on-one in-depth conversations with a cabin leader. A typical cabin group will consist of 10 to 12 campers with two counselors with an overall ratio of approximately one staff member for each two campers.

CAMP 7 THEME

Our camp theme will be announced in 2024!

Each week brings about 75 volunteer staff dedicated to making this week an awesome experience for your child. Each camp has a Nurse or Doctor on staff, 4 certified lifeguards and 2 advanced first-aid attendants. The majority of our staff have served for many consecutive years and all have pre-camp training, criminal record checks and reference checks. A typical cabin has a Sr. Cabin Leader and a Junior Cabin Leader for 10 kids. We are committed to making this a safe, fun and loving environment for your child.

Meet the Director

Gatlin Saip

I was first introduced to Daybreak Point Bible Camp as a camper in the summer of 2005. Since then, I have remained involved with Anvil due to the tremendous impact that those first few years had on my life. Over the past 15 summers, I have served at Daybreak in many roles, including worship leader, sports crew, program crew, assistant director and designated luggage handler. It is my hope that many young people will have the same opportunity that I had, to experience a loving and joy-filled community at Anvil, grounded in Christ’s love. At Camp 7, we are all about building relationships and having a lot of fun!
