We are excited to announce that Daybreak Point Bible Camp on Anvil Island will be opening for week-long summer camps in 2022. Our registration will go live on February 1, 2022 and you will notice a few changes this year.
We will only be collecting a $50 non-refundable deposit when you register for camps this summer. The balance of the funds needs to be paid between April 15th to 30th. Our early bird pricing for 2022 is $545.00 (plus gst) with our regular pricing (starting May 1st) will be $560.00 (plus gst). Any funds that are not paid by April 30th will be charged at the new camp fee rate. We are collecting the non-refundable deposit this year so you can ensure your child’s spot at camp and to cover the processing costs during this ever-changing time of COVID-19. In the unfortunate chance that we may need to change our summer plans due to government rules and your child is no longer able to come to camp we will use the deposit to cover our processing costs.
We are going to open registration at 75 campers per week and we will add from the waitlist as we get information regarding summer camp capacities.
We plan on running all nine weeklong camps this summer and will follow all Provincial Health Orders and health and safety guidelines in place for youth summer camps. We will provide updates closer to the summer as we receive further instructions from our governing bodies.
We will open Staff Registration and Registration for Camps 10 and 11 on March 21, 2022! If you are interested in being a staff member this Summer, please contact your directors soon to begin your application process as all applications must be received prior to registering to be a staff member for our Summer camps. Using the current BC Provincial Health regulations, all staff and volunteers will be fully vaccinated while working at Daybreak Point Bible Camp. We will follow guidelines and rules as they change, and if vaccinations are no longer required, we will update our policies.
