Just some of what's going on @ Daybreak:

"VISION 2012 and the future moving forward"

Join us as we build for the future at a townhall vision meeting at Granville Chapel on February 16 from 7pm-10pm.  We will be presenting a little of Daybreak's past, present and future.  Much of the evening will focus on building replacement with special attention given to our "hospital", old workers and dining hall buildings.  We have some initial plans, dreams and ideas for the future but we need your input at this crucial moment in time as we go forward.  Please bring your ideas and prayers to this meeting as we invest for the next 73 years and, together, with God's blessing, we'll turn these dreams and plans into reality for this generation and for future generations.

NEW CAMP FIRST AID ("hospital") and OLD WORKER'S CABIN?

In May of 2010, a group of skilled, long-time Daybreakers who volunteer on our Planning Committee, went up to the camp and performed a building inventory of all our buildings to assess their general condition and life expectancy.  Following this assessment, it was determined that the "hospital" building as well as the old worker's cabin required immediate attention followed by our dining hall.  We are now receiving donations to help cover the costs of this new all in one building.  We fully (as is the Anvil way) plan to utilize many skilled volunteers to construct this new building but the plans, material, barging etc. will cost a lot of money.
Would you consider supporting our plans to build a new building?
It takes serious commitment to achieve the goal of us replacing the existing 60 year old hospital/old worker's cabins.  If you've ever received a blessing from a nurse, doctor or first responder inside this building, please consider giving generously as this building is in dire need of replacing.
