Camp can't come soon enough!

So between then and now, here's what you need to know-  real simple:

  • When will I get a call from my cabin leader?

Because we will be filling cabins right up to the end - you should expect a call just one week prior to camp starting. If you still haven't heard from them and camp is starting within a week - call the office.
  • What Do I need to Bring?

In no particular order: Sleeping Bag, Pillow, Bible, Flashlight, Toiletries, swimsuit, sandals, runners, clothes you can get dirty in, a clean pair of socks, Bug Spray, sunscreen. What not to bring: Cell Phones, iPods, Knives, Your Pet Hampster - these will be collected on the first day for secure (locked) storage during your week.

  • When and Where is the Boat?

The boat leaves from the foot of denman at 7:30 A.M. SHARP. Please be there no later than 7:00AM to sign in. Click HERE for directions. Pick Up is at the same location - at 12:15 ish (depending on sailing times). For last minute updates - check the Anvil Island - Daybreak Point Bible Camp fan page on Facebook.
  • What's the deal with Canteen?

Canteen is totally optional. At camp, we have a small store that sells things like chocolate bars, pop and other candy. We also have a new line each year of sweet anvil gear like t-shirts, hoodies and tank tops. T-Shirts are around $17 and Hoodies about $45. At the start of the week you will turn in whatever money you want to spend for the week to the canteen. They will create an account for you so that every time you come into the store, they just use the money in your mini account. On average a camper spends around $20 a week.
