Anvil island

We Are Anvil... it's hard to explain everything that makes Anvil so unique and beloved. The best way to do this is to come up to a week of Camp this summer or to be one of the many amazing volunteers who come for our work weekends or weeks giving up their time to make sure that everything is running smoothly.

Anvil is about introducing youth to the life and love of Jesus Christ.  We do this through high-energy games, amazing meals, quality relationships, water sports and engaging chapels on 96 beautiful acres on the southern tip of Anvil Island in Howe Sound (10 mins north of West Vancouver on Sea-to-Sky highway).  We've been doing this for over 73 years and would love the opportunity to see you or your child up for a life-changing week.  We offer ten camper cabins that accomodate 100 kids and 20 staff, along with six additional staff cabins and one chalet-styled lodge building.

We have a full-time staff of three people (our executive director Shawn Wilson, our administrator Shannon MacWilliams and our caretaker Kent Friesen) and a volunteer army of hundreds.
