Kick off your summer in the best way possible! At Camp 1 you will play outrageous games, enjoy down time by the volleyball court or waterfront, and eat some delicious meals. But the best part of it all by far is the relationships you will make with your fellow campers, staff, and even God Himself!
We can’t wait to start our summer with you!
Espionage on Anvil
Hidden codes, secret missions, and shadowy alliances await as we take over an island of espionage! Where every whisper might be a clue and every challenge is a covert test of skill, courage, and how well you can pretend you totally know what you’re doing.
From cracking encrypted messages to navigating highly classified and maybe mildly confusing missions, only the sharpest minds, (and the campers who get lucky) will rise through the ranks.
Choose wisely who you will trust. Especially when sports crew says “this will be easy.”
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, begins July 4th.
Camp 1 Gallery
Each week brings about 75 volunteer staff dedicated to making this week an awesome experience for your child. Each camp has a Nurse or Doctor on staff, 4 certified lifeguards and 2 advanced first-aid attendants. The majority of our staff have served for many consecutive years and all have pre-camp training, criminal record checks and reference checks. A typical cabin has a Sr. Cabin Leader and a Junior Cabin Leader for 10 kids. We are committed to making this a safe, fun and loving environment for your child.

Meet the Director
Hi, I’m Megan. Anvil has been a special place since I was a young child going with my family and my church, eventually I went as a camper and have been a camp enthusiast ever since! I have enjoyed camp from many different perspectives, camper, cabin leader, kitchen, childcare, program, and now having the joy and privilege of serving as director. I have witnessed God’s incredible work on Anvil through his creation, his people, and experienced it within myself in know his deep love for me. I love sharing the experience of camp with others and would be thrilled to welcome you!
I currently live in Richmond BC with my husband Caleb, when not at camp we are probably outside somewhere skiing, hiking, and camping, or getting our hands dirty as we learn how to renovate a house. We love people, our local church, and discovering fun coffee shops while on our excursions.
I believe that God uses camp ministry in powerful ways to reach and transform lives. God has used camp to touch my own life in just about every way; through the growth, challenge and encouragement I have experienced through this ministry God has drawn me deeper into relationship with Him, and I have full faith that He will do the same for you let Him!
