Welcome to Camp 2
Camp 2 happens in the second week of July and there can’t be too many better ways to start summer than to be with us. We have room for about 100 campers, age 13 to 15, and our passionate, volunteer staff teams spends most of the off-season putting together the most fun and engaging week of camp that we can dream up.
Each week brings about 75 volunteer staff dedicated to making this week an awesome experience for your child. Each camp has a Nurse or Doctor on staff, 4 certified lifeguards and 2 advanced first-aid attendants. The majority of our staff have served for many consecutive years and all have pre-camp training, criminal record checks and reference checks. A typical cabin has a Sr. Cabin Leader and a Junior Cabin Leader for 10 kids. We are committed to making this a safe, fun and loving environment for your child.
Medieval Fantasy
Step into a world of castles, kingdoms, and legendary quests at Camp 2 Medieval Fantasy. This is a week where imagination takes over and every camper becomes part of an epic story. Each day is filled with action as campers defend their kingdom, take on daring quests, and rise to new challenges together. Courage is tested, leaders emerge, and unforgettable moments unfold from start to finish. Rooted in faith and purpose, this is more than just camp, it is a full adventure where every camper gets to live out their own legend.

Meet the Director
Hello! I’m Sarah Mercier! I am someone who grew up attending Bible camps every summer, but hadn’t served at Anvil specifically until 2022. So, I am a bit of a late addition to the Anvil family! Nonetheless, it has been such an honour to serve the Kingdom in this way, and every year I am filled with an eager expectation to witness how the Lord will move.
I live in North Vancouver, and when I’m not on the island, I am teaching music and dance to kiddos, serving my local church in the worship and kids ministry, soaking up the sun, taking up a new hobby (right now it’s embroidery), or trying to find the best strawberry matcha in the city.
Summer camp changed my life when I was 13, and I am confident that the Lord will continue to use these precious weeks to minister to everyone there, kids and staff alike. There is no better place to discover and encounter the amazing love of Jesus than at camp.
