Summer Isn’t the Same Without You!

We are so excited to welcome you or your child up at camp this year and we can’t wait to introduce you to everything that Anvil has to offer!  We are about introducing campers to the life and love of Jesus Christ. We do this through high-energy games, amazing meals, quality relationships, water sports and engaging chapels. We’ve been doing this since 1939 and would love the opportunity to see you or your child up for a life-changing week.

PLEASE NOTE: We want as many children and teens as possible to have the “Anvil Camp Experience”.  Therefore each camper is only allowed to register for one week of camp each summer. If you were interested in attending a second week, please contact the office and we will be happy to discuss this with you further.  Thank you!

Camp Staff

Each week brings about 85 volunteer staff members dedicated to making this week an awesome experience for your child. Each camp has a Nurse or Doctor on staff, 4 certified lifeguards and 2 advanced first-aid attendants. The majority of our staff have served for many consecutive years and all have pre-camp training, criminal record checks and reference checks. A typical cabin has a Sr. Cabin Leader and a Junior Cabin Leader for 10 kids. We are committed to making this a safe, fun and loving environment for your child.

Canteen

At Daybreak Point Bible Camp, we have our very own ‘general store’ called Canteen. It’s jam packed with all sorts of snacks, swag & supplies. You can send an allowance with your camper and we will set up an account for them to make daily purchases (although, there is a daily limit on the candy #saynotocavities). Each year we release an amazing line of Anvil inspired T-Shirts, Tanks, Long Sleeve Shirts, Hoodies, Hats, stickers, Water Bottles, Mugs and much much more! We also give bibles to campers who would like them and we sell toothbrush, shampoo and other camper essentials.

You can deposit money directly into your canteen account. Just login to your account that you used to register.  Then you can click on ‘View Details’ under your 2025 application to get to the Registration Details page. This page shows you all of your information in one place and it has a Camp Store Top Up section. You will see a description of how much money to add to your child’s account.

Still Have Questions?

Did we miss a very important deail? Don’t fret, you can contact us directly at the email address below and we wil do our best to get you the info you’re looking for in due time. Who know’s, if it gets asked enough it might even become a FAQ down the road!

Who is looking after my child at camp?

Each week, around 75 trained volunteer staff are on-site to care for campers and create a safe, fun experience. Every camp has a qualified Nurse or Doctor, certified lifeguards, and advanced first-aid attendants. Cabin staff include a Senior and Junior Cabin Leader who care for a small group of campers, helping ensure each child is supported and included.

Is camp safe?

Yes. Safety is a top priority. All staff complete pre-camp training, criminal record checks, and reference checks. We also have medical staff on site and certified lifeguards for all water activities.

What does a typical day at camp look like?

Campers enjoy a mix of activities like waterfront time, games, chapel sessions, sports, crafts, and cabin time. Days are structured, active, and designed to balance fun, rest, and meaningful connection.

What kind of supervision is there?

Campers are supervised at all times. Cabin Leaders stay with their group throughout the day and overnight, and additional staff oversee activities and waterfront areas.

How many campers are in each cabin?

Cabins are made up of small groups (typically around 10 campers), with two dedicated leaders for consistent care and connection.

Are your staff experienced?

Most of our staff return for multiple years, building strong experience and relationships within the camp community. All staff participate in training before camp begins.

What if my child needs medical attention?

We have trained medical staff on site at all times, along with first aid responders. Parents are contacted if any significant medical concerns arise.

What makes camp a positive experience?

We focus on creating a safe, welcoming, and Christ-centered environment where campers can grow in confidence, build friendships, and have fun in the outdoors.
