Welcome to Camp 6 on Anvil Island! Get ready to jump into the ocean, tube behind the speed boat, sing in the chapel, play outrageous games, craft with new friends, fish off the dock, and look for wildlife.
In the midst of this beautiful island and nurturing community, we deeply hope each camper will encounter the life changing love of Jesus, build meaningful relationships, and have a blast!

Dodge, duck, dip, dive! It’s the Winter Olympics at camp 6 this August! Trust us, you don’t want to miss this golden opportunity to compete, use your wits in games, and learn about our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!

Each week brings about 75 volunteer staff dedicated to making this week an awesome experience for your child. Each camp has a Nurse or Doctor on staff, 4 certified lifeguards and 2 advanced first-aid attendants. The majority of our staff have served for many consecutive years and all have pre-camp training, criminal record checks and reference checks. A typical cabin has a Sr. Cabin Leader and a Junior Cabin Leader for 10 kids. We are committed to making this a safe, fun and loving environment for your child.

Meet the Director
I am Spencer Smid and although I have been involved in camp ministry since I was a kid, my time at Anvil began in 2018 when my family and I came to the island for the first time. My role has evolved from leading LITS to assistant director and now directing.
Michelle and I have been married for 17 years and I am dad to Claire and Jane. I work as a Chiropractor. In my time off I love to ski with my family and coach the local highschool football team.
I look forward to spending another week at camp, watching God’s story unfold on Anvil.
