What does your support mean?

Estate & Legacy Gift Planning

As you make planned giving decisions, we encourage you to consider a gift to Daybreak Point Bible Camp Society, also known to many as Anvil Island Camp. Such a gift allows you to invest in future generations of young people while providing you and your family with significant financial planning opportunities. It is our intention to make your gift giving experiences as simple and direct as possible. Gifts provide the donor with tax benefits and Daybreak Point Bible Camp with critical resources to fulfil our mission. We encourage you to contact our office by phone (604.764.8569), or email (treasurer@anvilisland.ca) with your questions.

Below are just a few planned giving options available to our Daybreak Point Bible Camp community.

  • Bequests can be arranged through a Will or Living Trust. They may be for a specific amount, for a specific asset, or for all or a percentage of your estate.
  • Life Insurance policies may be transferred to Daybreak Point Bible Camp. You will receive current tax benefits while providing for Daybreak Point Bible Camp’s future.
  • Often the value of this type of gift will be larger than the amount invested. Leaving retirement plan assets upon death may avoid both income and estate taxes.
  • Given the steady rise in real estate property values, gifts sourced from Home Equity are another increasingly popular option.
  • Daybreak Point Bible Camp is open to discussing other gift options that might meet your financial needs.

For any further inquiries regarding our Estate and Legacy Gift Planing program, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with our administrative office.

Sponsorship

Daybreak wants to ensure that no child is denied the camping experience due to a lack of financial resources, which is why we have worked hard to create the Daybreak Sponsorship Program. To learn more, head on over to our Sponsorship page now.
