Welcome To Camp 9

Camp 9 on Anvil Island is the finale to an amazing summer for any teenager ages 14 -16! Our staff work hard to create 7 days of adventure, authentic community and life long memories for young people.

At Camp 9, we are all about intentionality: from the way we have fun, to the way we worship God to the way we build community together.

Welcome To Camp 9

Each week brings about 75 volunteer staff dedicated to making this week an awesome experience for your child. Each camp has a Nurse or Doctor on staff, 4 certified lifeguards and 2 advanced first-aid attendants. The majority of our staff have served for many consecutive years and all have pre-camp training, criminal record checks and reference checks. A typical cabin has a Sr. Cabin Leader and a Junior Cabin Leader for 10 kids. We are committed to making this a safe, fun and loving environment for your child.

Meet the Director

My name is David Jones, and I have the privilege of being the director of Camp 9. For many years, I’ve been a part of the Daybreak Point Bible Camp community, commonly known as Anvil Island for over 20 years. I’m looking forward to directing camp this year. I am a pastor in the Vancouver area. I believe that camp ministry is the most effective evangelistic ministry in the lower mainland. I am looking forward to camp this year.
