Job Description:
The successful applicant for this summer camp ministry positions will be responsible for lifeguarding activities on the oceanfront and first aid/emergency care, for campers and staff of all ages throughout the summer. Interaction with and supervision of campers and staff is required for water sports (wake boarding/water skiing etc.), swimming, hiking and boating. These activities occur at varied times of day, which will require life guarding staff to stay at the camp for the entire employment period, except for regular scheduled days off. In addition to waterfront duties all guards, as summer staff, will be responsible for first aid duties, weekly inventory, safety and cabin checks, Implementing COVID safety enhanced cleaning protocols, and some waterfront/camp maintenance duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Lifeguarding experience with the following qualifications:
- Bronze Medallion
- Bronze Cross
- National Lifesaving Service Award
- Valid CPR certification (Level C)
- Valid First Aid certification*
- Completed Criminal Record Check
In addition, it would be beneficial if the applicant were to have experience in a camp setting and/or experience working with children and youth.
Priority will be given to applicants who are willing to take advanced first aid training (training will be organized and paid for by Daybreak Point Bible Camp).
Compensation (per week includes room and board): From $600 Weekly

End Date: August 30
All Summer Staff are required to sign Daybreak Point Bible Camp’s Statement of faith and must attend weekly Summer Staff meetings and Sunday morning chapels.
