Anvil Banquet Recap 2019

In late April we held our Annual Fundraising Banquet.  This year was a very special milestone as in 2019 Daybreak Point Bible Camp is celebrating our 80th Anniversary. 

We had a wonderful evening of great food, provided by Sisters Act Catering, fellowship and learning about our Camp.  Thank you to Bethany Baptist Church for allowing us to use their venue to host our Banquet. 

That evening were treated to vintage footage of the camp and music provided by some of our Camp 1 Volunteers.  Carmen Remple delivered an inspiring message of hope and never giving up on the children and youth who come to us every summer.  We also met our 2019 summer staff and praying for all of our staff this season. 

As always, our Silent Auction was a huge hit and we are so appreciative of all the people and companies who donate to our Auction every year!  This year we also had Brett from the Wedding Lot at a photobooth that many enjoyed throughout the evening! Thank you to everyone who generously gave that evening.  Thanks to this generosity, we raised over $125,000.00 for Daybreak Point Bible Camp!  This means so much to us at the camp.  Our Banquet is our one big fundraising pitch throughout the year and it is a huge undertaking by our Admin and her group of volunteers to put on every year. 

Thank you so much to all our volunteers who gave up countless hours before the banquet and their entire day to be there for set up and take down.
